In the case of online commerce stock movements happen with a very high frequency.
Those movements are related to transactions: orders delivery, returns and reimbursements, or even the disposal of damaged products.
All of this leads to sorting and restocking operations, a process provided by our company for its clients with periodicity, promptness and fairness - with complete control and correction procedures.
The fulfillment area is adjacent to the storage space. For online commerce, this makes possible to integrate product handling efficiently with the parcel manufacturing process and with the processing of returns or refusals.
These activities are supported and managed by internally developed documents: lists with the total of products in the consignment, lists of orders, lists of package components, invoices for each package, possible advertising materials for each package, package labels, shipping documents, and last but not least, documents for internal product movement inside the warehouse.
Real-time Inventory Reporting is done through the Themis application.
Themis is a Stock Management System developed by OPS to monitor, plan, control inventory and optimize stock management. It provides a structured method of accounting for all incoming and outgoing inventory, and the reporting Web interface allows all stakeholders real-time access to information.
Our clients have the opportunity to transmit, through dedicated applications, the information about the orders they want to be shipped. This is possible regardless of the Shipping Software used. Simply put, we ensure the connection between the two systems.
If a client does not own a shipping software, our company provides everything needed.
As described in the Storage Linked to Fulfillment Process section above, we provide all the necessary documents for orders shipping and delivery: lists with the products in the consignment, lists of orders, lists of the components for each package, invoices for each package, advertising materials for each package, parcel labels, shipping documents and internal movement documents.
This process is automated and takes place immediately after the orders to be shipped are established.
For printing we can use any graphic form and template model desired by the client.
To deliver orders, we have the ability to produce parcels with any composition requested by the client.
Pick and pack process is driven by automated processes and it takes advantage from the fact that storage is close to the packaging line.
The fulfillment activity also includes handling of returned orders. Products are removed from the package, sorted and stored again. As we have shown above, the entire process is integrated and automated.
Refund of orders requires that, in addition to returning money to the end customer, the products should be recovered - as much as possible. We do this by checking the products and, if possible, we store these products again.
In the case of products that cannot be stored anymore, we provide delivery to disposal place.
Regardless of the postal operator or shipping company who delivers the orders, we perform research for missing parcels. This is done until the value of the lost orders is recovered.
